It should show your name, Highways affiliation, and Traffic Officer job role
📄 Payslip from the last 3 months
Make sure it includes your name, Highways affiliation, Traffic Officer job role and retired. Sign Up Here!
✅ What can I upload as proof of employment?
You can include:
Two documents dated at least 4 years apart (e.g. P60s or payslips)
An employment or leaver letter showing your start and end dates

A professional registration record with your work history or cease date
We only need to see documentation that proves your current employment to check that you are eligible. When you upload your documentation, we recommend that you redact all information other than your name, employer and date.
A few things to check before you upload 👀
🚫 We can’t approve your application if:
The name on your document doesn’t match your account
Your payslip is older than 3 months
Your Traffic Officer job role isn’t clearly shown
🚦 Retired Traffic Officers
You're eligible for a Blue Light Card! 🎉 To apply, please upload:
📄 A pension document from any provider
📝 Proof of at least 4 years’ relevant employment
We only need to see documentation that proves your retired status/former employment to check that you are eligible. When you upload your documentation, we recommend that you redact all information other than your name, pension provider, and if you need to provide supporting evidence of former employment you redact all information other than your name, employer and date.
