We only need to see documentation that proves your current employment to check that you are eligible. When you upload your documentation, we recommend that you redact all information other than your name, employer and date.
📄 Can’t use your work email?
No problem – you can upload a payslip from the last 3 months that clearly shows:
Your name
Your Home Office affiliation
The date

The name on your payslip must match your account
The payslip must be less than 3 months old
It must clearly confirm your Home Office affiliation

You're eligible for a Blue Light Card! To apply, just upload:
📄 A pension document from any provider
📝 Proof of at least 4 years' relevant employment
We only need to see documentation that proves your retired status/former employment to check that you are eligible. When you upload your documentation, we recommend that you redact all information other than your name, pension provider, and if you need to provide supporting evidence of former employment you redact all information other than your name, employer and date.
What counts as proof of employment?
You can upload any of the following:
Two documents dated at least 4 years apart (e.g. P60s or payslips)
An employment or leaver letter showing your start and end dates
A professional registration record showing your work history or cease date
