 We only need to see documentation that proves your current employment to check that you are eligible.  When you upload your documentation, we recommend that you redact all information other than your name, employer and date.

Payslip that includes:
Your full name
Clear police service affiliation
AÂ date within the last 3 months
đŽ Special Constables
Please upload a headed letter from your Police Constabulary. It must:
Be signed by your Sergeant
Show the same name as your Blue Light Card account

You're eligible too! To apply, you must upload:
A Blue Light Card-branded letter provided by your employer
(Note: Do not upload an ID card or payslip â these won't be accepted)
The letter must:
Show your name
Confirm your role as a BT999 Call Handler
đ¤ Retired Police Officers
When signing up, please select Police > Retired Police Service (not your former constabulary).
Accepted documents include:
Police pension document
P60Â showing Police Pension
NARPO or RPOAS card
SPPA headed letter + P60 or pension document (Scotland only)
Certificate of service
Retired police ID card
 We only need to see documentation that proves your retired status/former employment to check that you are eligible.  When you upload your documentation, we recommend that you redact all information other than your name, pension provider, and if you need to provide supporting evidence of former employment you redact all information other than your name, employer and date.
