You’re eligible if you’re employed by an organisation that’s regulated and listed on the register of one of the following bodies:
Care Quality Commission (CQC)
Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA)
Care Inspectorate Wales
Scottish Care Inspectorate
Jersey Care Commission
 We only need to see documentation that proves your current employment to check that you are eligible.  When you upload your documentation, we recommend that you redact all information other than your name, employer and date.
âś… Volunteering
You’re also eligible if you’re volunteering with an organisation regulated by any of the same bodies above. Every helping hand counts.

You're eligible for a Blue Light Card! To apply, simply upload:

📝 Proof of at least 4 years’ relevant employment
We only need to see documentation that proves your retired status/former employment to check that you are eligible. Â When you upload your documentation, we recommend that you redact all information other than your name, pension provider, and if you need to provide supporting evidence of former employment you redact all information other than your name, employer and date.
âś… What counts as proof of employment?
You can upload:
Two documents from at least 4 years apart (e.g. P60s or payslips)
An employment or leaver letter confirming your start and end dates
A professional registration record with your work history or cease date
