We welcome applications from people connected with the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA).
We only need to see documentation that proves your current employment to check that you are eligible. When you upload your documentation, we recommend that you redact all information other than your name, employer and date.

👩🔬 Retired from the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA)?
You're eligible for a Blue Light Card! To get started, simply upload:
✅ A pension document from any provider
✅ Proof that you worked at APHA for at least 4 years
📝 Your proof of employment could be:
• Two documents dated at least four years apart (like P60s or payslips)
• An employment or leaver letter showing your start and end dates
• A professional registration record with your work history or cease date
We only need to see documentation that proves your retired status/former employment to check that you are eligible. When you upload your documentation, we recommend that you redact all information other than your name, pension provider, and if you need to provide supporting evidence of former employment you redact all information other than your name, employer and date.
